Morals

My window is my world, and everything that happens inside, interests me only, even when the open curtains give way … to people’s prying eyes.

Curious and jealous stares

Moralistic whispers

Upon perception they judge

But not what I treasure in my arms

Because the windows lie

They present a different truth

If they could see what inside

I see with so much feeling!

Though I close the curtains

And turning off the lights

Judging disappears at all

And we return to our moon and moods

Leaving out what hinders

Outside of the curtain, the world

And inside, we fathom

That love has not taken sin…

Having left the outsiders with the curtains closed…
